Players have been requesting it for years, and soon you'll finally be able to race around an authentic recreation of the infamous Mountain Course in a video game thanks to the upcoming release of TT Isle Of Man: Ride on the Edge. Developed by Paris studio Kylotonn Racing, which also developed the acclaimed WRC 7, we've known for some time that TT Isle of Man is coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One in March, but now we have a firm release date.
BigBen Interactive has confirmed that will be released on PS4 and Xbox One March 6th 2018, followed by a PC release on March 27th. To accompany the announcement, a short gameplay video has been released narrated by none other than legendary rider John McGuinness, who has racked up 23 Tourist Trophy victories. McGuinness testifies the authenticity of the circuit, which has been painstakingly recreated from the walls, and crowds, to the advertisements and even the local pub.
Comprising of 264 bends, the gruelling 37-mile long Mountain Course should provide a serious challenge and test your reflexes to the limit. In addition to the main Mountain Course, TT Isle Of Man: Ride on the Edge also features nine fantasy tracks to practice on, 23 riders and 40 official motorbikes, as well as online multiplayer with support for up to eight players. The game also includes a career where you unlock new motorbikes and compete to win the legendary Isle of Man Tourist Trophy.
