News The TeamVVV Podcast Episode 14: EGX, Forza Horizon 3, DriveClub VR and more

Welcome to another installment of the TeamVVV Podcast for all your weekly racing game rambles.

This week we discuss our highs and lows of this year’s EGX, a show where you’ll probably spend more hours waiting in queues than actually playing games.

Still, at least there were plenty of racing games available to play, but it’s the indie scene that really stole the show this year with games such as Mantis Burn Racing which is shaping up to be a modern remake of Micro Machines, Gas Guzzlers Extreme and the completely bonkers Drive!Drive!Drive, a game where you have to race on three tracks at once.

Elsewhere, I managed to get a hands-on with DriveClub VR which left me impressed, even if a five minute go was nowhere near enough to acclimatise to the technology.

In the news, we discuss the bizarre release of the Radio Controlled Cars DLC in Valentino Rossi The Game, the new trailer of the upcoming Road Rash-style bike combat game Road Rage and the confirmed release date of Motorsport Manager. Oh, and a little known game called Forza Horizon 3 came out this week, so we felt obliged to give our first impressions.
