Indie developer VooFoo Studios has confirmed the release date for its upcoming Nintendo Switch port of Mantis Burn Racing: the top-down racer will be available to download for £14.99 on the Nintendo eShop on November 23rd.
The Switch version of Mantis Burn Racing is being billed as the definitive version of the game, featuring all previously released DLC in one package, a solid 60fps frame rate, local multiplayer and cross-play support for online races.
“The response to the Switch version has been incredibly positive,” said Sean Walsh, Marketing & PR Manager at VooFoo Studios. “We’ve been really encouraged by the feedback and level of excitement around the game, we can’t wait to bring credible top-down racing back to a new generation of Nintendo Switch players.”
We recently went hands-on with the Switch version of Mantis Burn Racing and found it to be potentially the best version of the game yet, as the top-down racing perfectly suits the portable platform. Nintendo Switch owners have an influx of racing game releases to look forward to right now aside from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Car football game Rocket League recently launched on the Nintendo Switch, and Milestone will be releasing its motocross simulation MXGP 3 on the system the same week as Mantis Burn Racing on November 21st. Gear.Club Unlimited will also launch on December 1st as the Switch’s first serious car racer.
