Simbin Studios UK has recently shared a GTR 3 teaser image to whet our appetites for the title’s 2019 release across the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
The teaser image (seen below) depicts the Mercedes AMG GT3 racing car.
Simbin Studios, known for their racing sim releases, came back into business with a brand new UK office in the North-West of England back in 2016. The very next year the development studio announced that the development for GTR 3 was underway and the team were in the process of recruiting additional staff.
Earlier this year, Simbin took to Twitter to apologise to fans for the ongoing silence and to give a provisional release window of Q2, 2019. The recent tweet below cements the 2019 release window.

GTR 3 will run on the Unreal 4 engine and will include day to night transitions, a fully dynamic weather system, and a vehicle damage system.
The genre-leading audio package of RaceRoom Racing Experience will transition over to GTR 3 thanks to the very talented sound engineer Anthony Monteil sharing his expertise across both teams during development.
