We’ve been waiting patiently for any GTR 3 rumblings for a while now, things have been so quiet in fact, that you would be forgiven for thinking the project might have been scrapped.
Thankfully, Simbin recently took to Twitter to apologise for the silence and to provide a provisional release window of Q2 2019.
Sorry we’ve been quiet. Our team and partners are keeping focus on development!
We’ve had some great discussions at Gamescom which we’re progressing at pace.
We’re aiming to release GTR3 in Q2 2019 dependant upon discussions in the next couple of months?#simbinuk #busy

GTR 3 will bring its brand of simulation racing to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. GTR 3 will run on the Unreal Engine 4 and will include dynamic time of day and weather systems, as well as an advanced damage system.
We’ll no doubt be seeing a lot more on GTR 3 in the next few months so check back for more on Simbin’s latest project. However, if you’re thirsty for more info, check out our “Here’s everything we know so far about Simbin Studios’ GTR 3” article.
