Codemasters has been teasing their upcoming rally sim DiRT Rally 2.0 recently with gameplay from the real-world rally driver and DiRT Rally 2.0’s consultant Jon Armstrong.
One such video shows us a stage from the location of Argentina which is described by Chief Games Designer Ross Gowing as the “most challenging location we’ve put in a rally game” – he’s not wrong.
The Argentina stage (below) looks like the ultimate test for rally racing veterans thanks to its extremely narrow sections which are made even more challenging thanks to large rocks parked either side leaving very little room for error. It certainly stands out in contrast to the much more forgiving look of New Zealand which was first teased.
DiRT Rally 2.0 is scheduled for release on February 26, across the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC platforms.
Yeah, wow you’re not wrong there. I can see myself ripping the panels off the car on those nasty rocks before the first split.
