Developer Zordix are hoping to make a splash with Aqua Moto Racing Utopia which has now taken up place on Steam's Greenlight programme. It's now up to Steam users to vote whether or not they'd like to see the game land on Steam.
Aqua Moto Racing takes obvious cues from Wave Race 64 with its 90's era arcade like appearance complete with its ramps, tricks, over-enthusiastic voice work and bright colours. Late last year Zordix actually announced the water-based racer would be coming to the PlayStation 4 console.
Aqua Moto Racing Utopia will feature single player championships, a career mode, a stunt mode and a free ride leisure mode along with online and split screen multiplayer modes.
Winning races in the career mode will earn you cash which you can use to buy new vehicles to help you through the game. Each of the vehicles have certain advantages and disadvantages so you'll need to choose wisely depending on the type of circuit you are racing on to succeed.
We'll bring you more on Aqua Moto Racing Utopia as soon as we can.
