Milestone has released the third in a series of gameplay trailers for MotoGP '13 that shows just how far the game has come during development in recent months. And what's on show looks very promising indeed.
In what is our first glimpse of the 2013 season content in action, we hitch a ride with Valentino Rossi along the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix at Laguna Seca:

Of course, we've seen a very similar pre-race paddock setup done before in Codemaster's back-catalogue for several years now as popularised by the F1 series, but it's an inevitable crossover when both developers are attempting to recreate a licensed motorsport as closely as possible. And whilst we're on the subject of similarities to Codemaster's games, the character models look like emotionless drones, but we'll forgive them considering how glorious the rest of the game currently looks. Hopefully we'll see a similar setup in WRC4.
Rider animations also appear to be subtly realistic. Watch closely as Rossi gently leans his leg to negotiate the high speed corner.
We'll have more on MotoGP '13 as we get it. In the meantime, you can discuss this in the comments below, on our Facebook page or on our forum.
