We return to some biking action from The Crew's upcoming Wild Run expansion.
Alan rides through a forest area taking the bike off road at times which seems to be no problem for it at least with the arcade settings selected, hardcore settings may be another matter entirely. Riding on the bumps gives us a great opportunity to see some of the rider animations which look surprisingly good considering the game launched with only four wheels on offer.
At one point we can see the sun flashing through he trees which looks a little harsh right now although it's worth noting that this graphical update is still very early in development. Alan heads back to the roads and we switch to the first person viewpoint where we see the handlebars. Alan notes the on-board viewpoint is very playable (which is great news for people like me) and felt very intuitive. We can easily see a lot of people using this viewpoint as they cruise across the U.S. map.
Early impressions then are very good, the new content, graphics and handling should keep people interested in The Crew for a while yet and should entice old players back into the massive open-world title. Expect to see a lot more The Crew: Wild Run in the near future as we do our very best to get a hands on with newer builds.
The Crew's Wild Run expansion will release from November 17 for the Xbox One, PC and Playstation 4 platforms.
