After two years in development, the visually interesting and procedurally generated racer Krautscape is finally out of Steam's Early Access programme.

Krautscape is an action arcade racing game which features bird-like flying cars and a heavy focus on competitive multiplayer gameplay. The procedurally generated track is effectively built by the leading player, other players then have a slight advantage and can take shortcuts to overcome obstacles for example.

You bird-like vehicles can easily take to the air just by driving off the side of the track, this will trigger your wings to spread and your wheels will tuck in for full flight mode. Once you've returned to the track your wheels will extend outwards and your wings will fold up as you race along happily on all four wheels.

Krautscape features three multiplayer game modes which all have their own different gameplay and goals and are all playable with online, on LAN or in split screen mode (which can handle up to four players). You can purchase Krautscape on Steam right now for just £4.47.
