Platform: PS4

Publisher: Sony Interactive Entertainment

Release Date: 07/10/2014

DriveClub's new Japan location has been fully revealed by Evolution in a new gameplay video showcasing a full lap of the Nakasendo track. As with all locations, it will be one of several new Japanese tracks to be added to the game in a free update later this month.

Evolution describe Nakasendo as an "epic point-to-point drive offering plenty of wide open sections for high speed overtaking and loooong switchbacks where you can get your drift on."

(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = “//connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#xfbml=1”; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs); }(document, ‘script’, ‘facebook-jssdk’));

Eagle-eyed viewers will also notice that the video also showcases a brand new car to DriveClub: the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Centennial Edition, further bolstering its selection of American cars. The ZR1 will be available in an upcoming Expansion pack and to season pass holders. Considering the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray was part of the Redline Expansion Pack released last month, it's slightly disappointing to see another Corvette join the roster so soon when DriveClub's slender selection of US manufacurers. Still, who knows – maybe the next expansion pack will be American themed to make up for it? DriveClub definitely needs some muscle cars added to the roster.

WIth significant updates such as the Photo mode and dynamic weather, and continuous car content, it's hard to deride DriveClub's post-release support. Evolution's DLC plan will continue to add more cars to DriveClub until June, so there's still plenty to look forward to.
