In news that will not surprise many, it has been confirmed that DiRT Rally 2.0 will not feature “Gamer” handling as found in DiRT 4.
DiRT 4 tried its best to accommodate players of all skill levels by introducing two handling modes – Gamer and Simulation. In theory, this sounds like an amazing idea, sadly its execution was poor: the simulation setting did not come close to the authenticity found in DiRT Rally before it leaving many fans frustrated.
Let us know if not having a “Gamer” handling mode will affect your interest in DiRT Rally 2.0 and whether you found the original to be too difficult.
Recently, Codemasters confirmed that DiRT Rally 2.0 will not support VR at launch. However, should there be “enormous demand” it could be something they include in a future update.
DiRT Rally 2.0 is scheduled to release on February 26, 2019, across the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC platforms.
