Bandai NAMCO has been confirmed as the official distributor for Slightly Mad Studios' upcoming racing game, Project CARS.
As part of this partnership, Bandai NAMCO will be overseeing the full global distribution of Project CARS to retailers, once the title is officially released later this year in November.
The Japanese game publisher and distributor is "tremendously happy to be collaborating with Slightly Mad Studios on this promising title", according to Alberto González Lorca (VP Third Parties at Bandai NAMCO Games Europe), whilst Slightly Mad Studios head Ian Bell claimed the pairing is the "perfect" way to bring Project CARS to a global audience.
Bandai NAMCO has had fairly close links with various racing games over the years, particularly in recent times: the global distribution of the Grid 2, F1 2013 and GRID Autosport games were all handled by the company, as will be the case for the delivery of Milestone's MotoGP '14 throughout the US later this year.
