VooFoo Studios’ top-down racer Mantis Burn Racing has released on the Nintendo Switch today.
The modern take on the old-school genre of top-down racing wowed us with its addictive gameplay and satisfying handling when it was first released on the PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One late last year. As a matter of fact, it narrowly missed out on our indie game of the year award for 2017.
The switch edition of Mantis Burn Racing bundles all previously released DLC packs (Elite Class, Battle Cars and Snowbound) into one package. The title features a lengthy single-player campaign which consists of 11 seasons, along with support for up to 4 players in the split screen local multiplayer mode and the racer even boasts cross-play support for online play (with support for up to 8 players).
Players can get to grips with lots of different vehicle types thanks to the five classes available, and race across 12 gorgeously detailed tracks across three different environments.
“Mantis Burn Racing on Switch features all the upgrades and content released to date in the biggest and best version of the game” said Mark Williams, Technology Director at VooFoo Studios. “The game is all about fun, fast, competitive racing and with added support for Switch specific features like Local Multiplayer and our ‘Cross-Table’ mode; it’s a perfect fit for Nintendo gamers at home or on the go.”
Mantis Burn Racing is available right now on the Nintendo eShop priced at £14.99.
