Welcome everyone to the TeamVVV Podcast, our new weekly show of racing game rambles hosted by VVV veteran Alan, Staff Writer Kevin and your humble Website Editor. About time really, since just about every other gaming website seems to be doing regular podcasts now.
In our first episode, we look back at Top Gear’s controversial reboot which is trying too hard to be like old Top Gear, Alan gives his feedback on Gran Turismo Sport after going hands-on with Polyphony’s PS4 debut and we discuss some of the latest racing game news including the announcements of F1 2016, WRC 6 and Ride 2.
Being our first ever episode, there were a few technical teething problems. If you complain about audio issues, believe us, we already know – it took nearly two hours to configure all our microphones correctly. My microphone wasn’t even being recognised, so I had to resort to my budget webcam microphone which is why I sound like I’m speaking in a water tank. Rest assured we’re looking to rectify any audio issues in future episodes.
