Sector3 Studios, the developer of the free-to-play PC racing sim RaceRoom Racing Experience, have recently teased fans with a mouth-watering preview video showcasing the upcoming iconic Spa-Francorchamps track.
Of course it's no accident that the reveal should take place this weekend, as it ties in neatly with the Formula One race weekend at the famous Belgium circuit. The preview video, which lasts a satisfying nine-plus minutes, looks fantastic and really fits in with the quality of recently released tracks for RaceRoom.
Needless to say, Spa is one of the most iconic tracks in the world and is just one of four classic tracks still left in the Formula One racing calendar. The modern version of the track (which includes a new pit lane and bus stop chicane) consists of 20 turns in total and is 4.3 miles long.
Easily the most famous of the 20 turns is Eau Rouge. Eau Rouge is a steep uphill left-right-left segment and is a key part to get correct as it feeds into a very long straight which provides ample opportunity for overtaking. You can check out the tricky Eau Rouge and more in the gameplay footage below.
