Sony recently released a new “My PS4 Life” feature which any PlayStation 4 owner can use to find out their first ever PlayStation 4 game they’ve played along with their top three games (based on hours spent playing), and their most rare trophy.

Its the rarest trophy feature which has lead to people gaining decent estimates as to the total player numbers for any PS4 release.

A website called gamstat has listed a number of PlayStation 4 games along with their predicted total player count calculated from players’ rarest trophies combined with the percentage of players to acquire that very trophy.

At the time of writing, gamstat has listed 116 games and greater accuracy is expected once more numbers have been crunched. I have a hard time believing some of these numbers, but the way gamestat obtained them seems legit.

Thanks for the really interesting article, Kevin!
