Rocket League developer Psyonix have recently revealed that their upcoming Neo Tokyo update will be coming on June 20.
The update will see the inclusion of the Neo Tokyo map (see it in action below) which is packed full of skyscrapers and neon signs. The map itself features two raised sections along both sides much like what we've already seen within the game's Rocket Labs playlist.
Besides the new map, the Neo Tokyo sees the inclusion of over 20 rare and very rare items and a new trade-in system, painted and certified items, new chat options, new post-game celebrations, 8 new trophies and achievements and a new arena known as “Pillars” which divides the play area into three sections.
Furthermore, the Neo Tokyo update will signal the start of Rocket League's season 3 within the competitive playlists so players will get a fresh start to try and place in as high up a league as possible.
The physical version of Rocket League is scheduled to launch on June 24 and will be available for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
