The Playseat SMS-R Championship Series 2019 has now officially begun with €20,000 in prize money up for grabs.
The Project CARS 2 PC only competition, now four years old, opened its doors today kicking off with the very first Challenger Series qualifying event which will run between February 11-18.
Driving Touring Cars for the first time, Challenger Class competitors will need to earn their way into the competition finals (which will take place in the UK) by competing in qualifying rounds via the game’s “Community Events” mode.
Three additional qualifying rounds will follow culminating with Laguna Seca in early March.
Elsewhere, Pro Class teams will be invited to compete in this year’s competition in teams of two. The remaining virtual grid slots will be filled by the top drivers in the Challenger Class.
