Overpass gives you the opportunity to get behind the wheel of several off-road vehicles as you take on an array of natural and man-made obstacles.
Originally scheduled for release in October this year across the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, the launch date has now slipped into February 2020 allowing the developer time to fine-tune their game.
The announcement came accompanied by a brand new Gamescom trailer which you can view below.
Overpass features an impressive array of 25 buggies and quads from big-name manufacturers such as Arctic Cat, Yamaha, Polaris and Suzuki. You will negotiate slopes, steep inclines and a number of obstacles on extreme off-road surfaces with a total of 40 routes.
The technical level design is coupled with an authentic physics engine making you feel every bump. You’ll traverse several different surfaces including mud, sand, and rocks as you complete any given route against the clock.
You will need to select the appropriate vehicle and adapt your driving style utilising control of acceleration, correct use of the transmission and differentials, and knowing when to shift from two- to four-wheel drive modes to get the best out of your off-road machine.
Overpass includes multiple game modes: Career, Quick Race, Local Multiplayer (split-screen and hot-seat) and Online Multiplayer for up to eight players. Overpass is skidding its way over to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch in February 2020.
