Need for Speed Heat is now available across the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Origin for PC platforms.
Need for Speed Heat is set in the fictional Palm City, a brand-new open world which will see you, a street racer, earn cash via sanctioned events by day, and risking it all to build Rep in underground races by night.
Need for Speed Heat gives you the chance to drive the hybrid-electric performance, Polestar 1, for the first time ever, as well as some of the most iconic car brands in the world. The game also offers the deepest customisation the series has ever seen, including a range of options for both performance and style. Additionally, Need for Speed Heat features character customisation (a first for the series), giving you 12 preset avatars to choose from.
“At its core Need for Speed is about custom rides, adrenaline-filled races with cops and without them and showcasing the latest in car customization. With Need for Speed Heat we’ve dialed those core tenants up and dropped them into a vibrant new world,” said Riley Cooper, Creative Director at Ghost Games. “Heat offers two firsts for the series including a unique day and night cycle that offers players two ways to play, and customizable avatars so they can express themselves beyond just their wheels.”
