We've all heard of "complete" or "definitive" re-releases of high profile games bundling a year's worth of dlc or offering additional perks, but compact versions containing less content than the original release? Well, that's exactly what Milestone is cooking up with MotoGP '13 Compact, a lightweight version of their acclaimed bike simulation released back in the summer scheduled for release as a digital download for PS3 on January 8th 2014 and PS Vita on December 18th.
The idea behind MotoGP '13 Compact is to offer a "digital delivery and ready to go game" apparently requested by fans who crave a more accessible experience. As such, the content has been trimmed down to only include the MotoGP class and the number of game modes will be reduced – Grand Prix, Championship, Split screen and Online Grand Prix will be included, but you'll note the lack of career mode which was originally one of MotoGP '13's key selling points.

The benefit of these setbacks, though, is that MotoGP '13 Compact will be available for a considerably lower price: the Vita version will cost just €9.99, wheras the PS3 version will cost €14,99, although the original MotoGP '13 can be found for around £20 if you shop around.
