News Latest KartKraft update introduces new mode

The early access Kart racing sim KartKraft has undergone its latest update which sees a new mode along with a few fixes and tweaks to improve the overall experience.
KartKraft build 0.1.0.1480 (who comes up with these names?) introduces a new “minimal time trial mode” which disables ghosts and only records your very best time at the conclusion of the session (assuming it’s better than your previous best of course).
Elsewhere, HUD processing time is said to be reduced by 75%, driver animations have been improved, and a few other enhancements and fixes have been applied which can be seen in the patch notes below.

Fixes/Tweaks:
Reduced HUD processing time by 75%,
Improved driver animations,
Fixed bug causing the national leaderboard to appear empty intermittently,
Exhaust smoke particles are now only visible when the FX quality is set to ultra,
Removed foliage from all circuits that isn’t visible when on the circuit,
Fixed collision on IPK brake rotors causing the kart to shake uncontrollably.
New feature:
Added minimal time trial mode which disables the ghost and only uploads your new time at the end of the session, if better than your previous time.
