The Laguna Seca track for Gran Turismo Sport has been teased ahead of its official reveal this weekend.

Following on from the recent rumours, the track looks set to be racing our way soon. Before that happens though, we’ll see it in action this weekend at the Gran Turismo Sport World Tour Final held in Monaco.

Check out the teaser trailer below.

Earlier this week, a photo revealing the Laguna Seca track was supposedly leaked by a Gran Turismo Sport World Tour Final participant.

While we don’t have any release dates for the famous US track, we’re keeping our fingers crossed that we’ll get to race on it before Christmas. We’ll just have to make sure we have behaved ourselves this year.

Laguna Seca made its debut in Gran Turismo 2 back in 1999. The track is located in California, USA, and features a length of 2.238 miles consisting of just eleven turns. The main talking point of the track is undoubtedly the downhill “corkscrew” section which can even catch out pro racing drivers.

We’re excited to see how well the track works in a competitive event and in particular how Polyphony deals with corner-cutting, especially at the infamous corkscrew section.
