The Goodwood Motor Circuit is set to make its official racing game debut next week, when it’s added to Gran Turismo Sport on 30th May.
In a post on Twitter, the Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi posted a teaser image of the British circuit – or, more specifically, a close-up outline of the venue’s St Mary’s left-right, off-camber corner complex.
The teaser comes shortly after a Gran Turismo Championships competitor reportedly discovered the British motorsports locale in the PlayStation 4-exclusive racing game.

Yamauchi-san’s tweet also confirms the Goodwood Motor Circuit won’t be joined by any new car content in the upcoming content update.
Details on how the Goodwood Motor Circuit will be implemented in Gran Turismo Sport remains to be seen. It’s expected the Goodwood track will be incorporated into the game’s weekly racing schedule, and be added to at least some of the title’s GT League career mode races.
Fans of the Gran Turismo series will know the Goodwood Motor Circuit isn’t the first Goodwood racing venue to feature in the racing game franchise. The Goodwood Hill Climb course, which forms the centrepiece of the annual Goodwood Festival of Speed motoring event, was included in 2013’s Gran Turismo 6.
