It looks like the Fuji Speedway GT track will be returning to our beloved Gran Turismo franchise.
According to the schedule (below), via GTPlanet, the Japanese track will feature in the very opening round of the upcoming Gran Turismo World Tour live event. This means we should get to see the track in action in Gran Turismo Sport on Saturday, September 22.
Although the track should be showcased this Saturday, it’s probably unlikely we’ll see it roll out to all players on that date. We could even see it feature as part of an upcoming Japanese-focused update, who knows. Let’s hope we won’t have to wait long.
The (second) Gran Turismo World Tour will take place at the Red Bull Hangar-7, located on the outskirts of Salzburg, Austria.
The exhibition event features the top 36 ‘FIA-certified Gran Turismo Championships’ competitors from 12 countries. Competitors will test their skills on stage before the official Regional Finals that begin with the Asia/Oceania region in Tokyo on October 6-7.
