Turn10 has announced the Forza Motorsport 5 Game of the Year Edition, due for release on July 22nd for $60/£50/€70. The bundle will include the ten car Top Gear pack, plus the Road America and Long Beach tracks, and an unannounced third track. Could this be the Nurburgring?
A pretty underwhelming package, to be honest. Forza 5 didn't win any game of the year awards to my knowledge, and only offering one out of the wealth of available DLC packs isn't very enticing. To add insult to injury, at least two of the extra tracks are available to download for free anyway.
Granted, I wasn't expecting to see every last helping of DLC on the disc, but something more than this.
Given the July timing of the release, it seems that we can indeed expect the unannounced July car DLC pack to be the last.
