Release Date: 03/10/2017

Changes to Forza Motorsport 7’s force feedback system are on the way, via the content update that will be released for the game later today (5th February).

Full patch notes for the update will be revealed later today, but it has been confirmed the changes aim to remove the oscillation sensation that some wheel users had been experiencing in Forza Motorsport 7.

Wheel users aren’t the only players who are catered for in Forza Motorsport 7’s latest update. The Forza painting community should also see some benefits, thanks to the new lighting settings in the livery editor.

Rounding off the update are two Ferrari cars that all players will have access to for free: the Ferrari GTC4Lusso (pictured) from Forza Horizon 4’s Car Pass programme, and the Ferrari 599 XX Evoluzione track car that last made a Forza appearance in the original Forza Horizon’s October Car Pack.

The last FFB update in November (or was it already December?) merely felt “different” than really “improved”, I was disappointed trying it out. Happy to see that they’re still working on it and seem to know that it’s far from where it needs to be to make some FFB “snobs” fans of Forza.
Anyway, FM7’s FFB was already miles ahead of the tragic FFB that was in FM5 and 6.
