Milestone has released the very first gameplay of Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Videogame 2.
The gameplay video (seen below) showcases a single lap of the Tampa circuit in Florida, USA featuring the famous champion Eli Tomac.
The gameplay is looking impressive so far especially considering the sheer amount of detail in the environment which has no doubt presented a massive technical challenge for the development team.
Take a look at the gameplay for yourself below.
The title features more than 3,000 customisable items covering the physical appearance of your rider as well as a list of accessories to wear during races. There are more than 300 customisable mechanical parts for bikes, and the Track Editor returns and is said to be bigger and better than before with “a lot of new features”.
There are more than 80 official racers from the 2018 season including for the first time in a videogame, Eli Tomac. Seventeen tracks will be available at launch, including the new NRG and Raymond James stadiums, all introduced to the player via a TV-style presentation.
Bike control is more accurate and realistic (both on track and in air) thanks to the development team’s “Advanced Inertial Response” and “Real Terrain Collision” systems. Also, the new “Dynamic Flow Aid” helps players to always find the ideal trajectory to help with jumps and landings which should help intermediate players and newcomers.
Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Videogame 2 is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC in February 2019.
