F1 2018‘s latest v1.16 patch is now available across the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
The latest patch updates the tyre physics issue which enabled temperatures to behave differently depending on the frame rate. According to Codemasters, the fix will bring temperature behaviour in line across all platforms.
Codemasters are aware of the problems in F1 2018 thanks to user feedback but explain that have to prioritise issues depending upon their difficulty: “…we log and assess all user feedback which we receive via any of our social channels. In some situations we’re able to act upon issues more readily than others, depending on the complexity and development requirements. In this instance we felt we could quickly and safely apply an important fix which will impact upon the validity of players performance in game.”
Clearly, some players are still unhappy with certain elements of F1 2018 despite all of the updates we’ve seen for F1 2018 post-launch.
