Hot on the heels of our first look at DiRT Rally, we go from the sun-baked mountains of Greece to the equally enchanting Welsh countryside.
Alan launches himself into the stages with no prior practice so there's some inevitable mistakes here and there. The co-driver can become a source of a little frustration as we find the calls can sometimes feel a bit on the late side.
The Welsh stage throws some very tight hairpin bends at you which absolutely require the use of the hand brake, something that other rally games in the past haven't really achieved. Alan struggled with braking as the game doesn't portray the feeling of speed very well and so your judgment of when to hit the brakes diminishes. But overall Alan had a very enjoyable experience in the Welsh countryside, which looks amazing.
We have more DiRT Rally action to follow, stay tuned.
