The launch trailer for Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled has been released some two weeks before the game’s launch across the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch consoles on June 21.
The trailer (below) showcases several modes found within the game including the Battle Mode and split-screen local multiplayer. We also get a sample of several of the environments on offer as Crash and company do battle.
Developed by Beenox and published by Activision, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is built from the ground up and remasters the original Crash Team Racing (released on the original PlayStation back in 1999), as well as some classic content from 2003’s Crash Nitro Kart bringing the characters, karts, tracks and arenas up to modern day standards.
Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled brings back modes such as Adventure, Arcade Single Race, Cup Race, Time Trials, and Battle Mode. There’s also support for both online and offline multiplayer modes.
Players can pre-order the Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled – Nitros Oxide Edition. This digital deluxe edition will feature Nitros Oxide as a playable character from day one across all game modes. Players will also receive the full Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled game, Oxide’s Hovercraft kart, space-themed character skins for Crash, Coco, Cortex, and others.
Those who do not purchase the Nitros Oxide Edition can earn the Nitros Oxide character and Oxide’s Hovercraft kart by completing some of the tougher challenges in the Adventure Mode.
We recently got hands-on with the title, you can see what we made of the upcoming kart racer in the video below.
