After some delays Assetto Corsa has finally arrived on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
The highly respected sim racer comes with 90 plus cars, 12 tracks (with all but one laser-scanned) with over 25 different configurations, an extensive career mode, special events, online multiplayer, drifting events and more and runs at 60 fps.
We've been testing the title over the last couple of weeks and are extremely impressed with how much the console versions feel like the original PC version (which released initially on Steam Early Access back in late 2013) in terms of the driving feel.
You can view the launch trailer for Assetto Corsa on the consoles below.
The consoles versions are not without problems though with screen tearing and frame dips apparent. However the day one v1.01 patch has already improved some of the title's issues and no doubt developer Kunos Simulazioni will soon fix these small little annoyances with future patches.
You can listen to our initial impressions of Assetto Corsa in the video below. Let us know in the comments how you are getting on with the racing sim on the consoles and you can look forward to lots more Assetto Corsa videos to come.
