There is an option to alter the “realness” (or whatever they call it) of the rain. I like the fact that there is tons of grip even when rain is on 100% realism in light rain conditions and not a skating rink, visuals are amazing on full. The headlights at night reminded me of Gran Turismo – they just don’t light the track ahead well at all!
Don’t like the way the Huracan behaves when running over curbs, particularly the high-speed right-hander before the left-right chicane. Also going around the 4th gear left-hander can be scary too 🙂
I’ve always found my racing games/sims get low-speed physics very wrong in general.
16/09/2018 at 4:17 pm in reply to: Singapore: Ocon or Perez who was to blame for the contact? #42982I don’t see an option to blame the track itself, one of my least favourites…….in the world!
Wow, really didn’t expect to see a digital library towards the end of the trailer, certainly interested in this, what price point are we talking here?
Playing Ridge Racer at home was amazing, as was playing Street Fighter II on the SNES, arcade at home feeling!
I also represented Finland for Unreal Tournament 2003 and 2004. Yep, Finland. Despite not having Finnish blood or having ever been to Finland.
Haha!
I used to make multiplayer maps using the Unreal Engine, although for Deus Ex, I’m sure I made my own version of 1 or 2 UT maps though.
After countless years of watching, I haven’t bothered for the last couple of years! I will get back into it next March no doubt, maybe, okay maybe not, I’m not sure.
Yup, working on the V-Rally 4 review currently, it’s come at a very busy time for Team VVV but it will be up soon!
Hi TinTop! Nice to have some long-time members on here, I probably came across Team VVV around the same time 🙂
Hi Ninja, glad to have you on the forum. I too like a good mix of racing games from indie to arcade to sim, keeps things interesting! Hoping to spend some decent time with Wreckfest when it releases on consoles, must say I was surprised by how sim-like it felt. As much as I’ve enjoyed the Formula 1 games over the years, I still haven’t been brave enough to do a 100% race, would be too nerve-racking for me!
I’ve voted NES thanks to classics such as the Super Mario Brothers games which were simply amazing at the time. Other highlights for me were Turtles, Life Force, Punch Out, Double Dragon, too many to think of!
The NES was an incredibly important console which pretty much saved the console gaming market after the mess left by Atari at the time.

Loved the four-player Simpsons and Turtles arcade cabs, anything that features a full bike is always cool. I remember after burner being very nice, Jurassic Park shooting game had a nice two-person seated cab I seem to remember. Prop Cycle was interesting with its cycle pedals, there was a helicopter game too which springs to mind but I can’t remember its name. I also remember a football game that you would control using a traditional stick and buttons but then you had a ball to kick when you got into a scoring position – the name escapes me though!

I still haven’t seen this properly, I will watch it through at some point. Very impressed with the detail in the environments and a cockpit view when driving to boot, sweet!
I was a massive fan of Streets of Rage 2 all those years ago! Although its art style here is completely different, it’s starting to grow on me.
