Turn 1+2+3+4 always causes some action at Singapore, this year was no different with the clash between the two Force India’s. It looks to me like Ocon saw a gap on the outside and went for it, Perez just closed the door that he had made but his reduction in momentum past the Haas.

Who you you think was to blame?

Perez pushed him, but perhaps Ocon should have backed out. Glad Perez wasn’t penalised – normal first lap incident to me.

Either way it’s not a good day for Perez or Force India.

I’ve gone with Perez… no doubting that second incident later in the race, too!

I could understand if Perez was worried about the Haas making contact with his rear tyre, and made the shift right in response.
But he should have shown more awareness.

It’s a real shame for Ocon.
I’m sure he would have wanted to spent more time on track just to get away from the off-track speculations.

I don’t see an option to blame the track itself, one of my least favourites…….in the world!

Yes, the on-board shows that Perez turned into Ocon, he took him out and then tried to take out Sirotkin. Expect Force India to bring in rules, but its unlikely Ocon will be in the car again as apparently Stroll wants to be in the car for Sotchi.
