It’s being speculated that the Xbox 360 game Forza Motorsport 4 could soon be playable on the Xbox One, thanks to the Xbox Backwards Compatibility programme.
The rumour mill began cranking into gear when the website XboxDVR.com, which curates screenshots and gameplay videos that have been shared by players using the Xbox Game DVR tools, began listing Forza Motorsport 4 as of 18th February 2019.
Though this isn’t a confirmation that Forza Motorsport 4 will be playable on the Xbox One, XboxDVR.com did state on Twitter “every [Xbox or Xbox 360] game with the exception of a rare few has gone backward compatible if it showed up in our database”.
So just an FYI, our system automatically pulls these in from time to time. But so far, every game with the exception of a rare few has gone backward compatible if it showed up in our database!

Speculation over a backwards compatible Forza Motorsport 4 also isn’t new. When the Xbox Backwards Compatibility initiative was announced at E3 2015, the box art of Forza Motorsport 4 could be seen during the presentation.
To date, the only pre-Xbox One Forza title to be released on the console is the original Forza Horizon, which joined the programme on 1st September 2016, before being pulled from the Xbox Store digital marketplace less than two months later.
That would be awesome, the only Forza’s I never played are 1 and 4 and I still have a wrapped copy of FM4 laying around.
