Image Space Incorporated have posted a new work in progress development screenshot of the upcoming Indianapolis circuit for rFactor2.
Our last look at Indianapolis in rFactor2 spawned from an early render of the podium whilst the team was hard at work constructing the circuit, but a Tweet posted by ISI Track Team shows a more developed shot of the pit complex, complete with the Pagoda tower – one of the most recognisable structures in motorsport.
No word yet on an exact release date for the Indianapolis circuit, but the Tweet reads "Our artists have been diagnosed with Indianapolitis as we prepare to put the @IMS pagoda complex in @rFactor2," indicating that we shouldn't have too long to wait.
The Indianapolis circuit is part of an Indy 500 license deal for rFactor 2, with planned future content including iconic Indy cars such as the Dallara DW12 and Reynard 95i along with the Indianapolis circuit available in both a oval & road course configuration.
