Mark your gaming calendar for December 31st, folks.

A new mysterious 'MXM project' from Milestone, the developers of WRC3 and MUD, has emerged, with an intriguing teaser website counting down to the official announcement in 20 days time on December 31st.

A quick Google search on MXM reveals this motocross decals website, which points to the possibility of a new bike game from Milestone. The motocross implications could possibly be hinting at a sequel to MUD, although the emphasis on this being an entirely new project hints at something a little less predictible.

At any rate, what do you think it could be? As ever, you can let us know in the comments below, on our Facebook page or on our forum. Happy guessing!

Probably a new motocross game (a sequel of MUD) but with a new name.

Maybe its a game based on the Dakar rally? It starts on January 5th, so perhaps Milestone are out there gathering data for a new game - MXM - Moto-Cross-Machines!

Would be great to race the different types of vehicles that participate in the Dakar in some sort of game.

Not sure if anyone's done a game based on the Dakar rally - surely theres enough history and scenery in the rally for game content?

Flight to Lima, boarding at gate number 77?

A great classic car, lovingly reproduced and with sublime handling that brings the expected challenge. There are still some aspects I have issues with but either way I'll have a lot of fun driving it and with more video content on the way.

Theres apparently a way to unlock it to 60fps if you change a value in the files and it doesn't break the game like it did with Rivals. Although I don't know how Ubisoft would feel about people doing so, it could result in a ban so I guess its best to put up with 30 fps.

Yes it will be locked at 30fps on all formats, its a shame the PC version has been restricted in this way (much like NFS Rivals) but either way the open world will get good fun to explore. You can expect a stack of videos nearer launch.

Apparently the beta is locked at 30 fps on PC. I really hope the full PC release is unlocked because 30 fps may be a deal breaker for me. Admittedly though some games are more playable than others at 30 fps, unfortunately didn't get into the beta so I don't know what it plays like.

Every car in AC is so unique and feels so natural that it's genuinely exciting when we see something new. I look forward to testing this and the eagle eyed will have spotted it racing round an as yet unreleased Spa.
