Assetto Corsa Competizione – the new official Blancpain GT Series game has seen its third release go live bringing with it multiplayer features for the first time.
Online functionalities are still very basic, however, it gives developer Kunos Simulazioni a chance to test the netcode and online systems as well as receive feedback from players. Currently, players can only join practice sessions on the three circuits currently available with further updates expected in the following months.
Full multiplayer functionalities will be introduced in the final version of Assetto Corsa Competizione due in Q1 2019.
From this release, Assetto Corsa Competizione Early Access costs £29.99, those who buy now will be given all Early Access releases including the final version (1.0).
The final game will include all cars and tracks of the ongoing Blancpain GT Season and it will also introduce career and championship modes. The development team has also confirmed a free update will be released during the Summer of 2019, introducing the 2019 Season of the Blancpain GT Series Championship.
