As we get closer and closer to the release date of Forza Horizon, more and more details of the most anticipated racing game on the Xbox 360 this year are beginning to emerge, with the latest tidbit of info being the announcement of a 'Season Pass'.
If it sounds like you've heard that name before, that's because you have: Forza Motorsport 4 had such a feature, which allowed the players who bought the Pass to save a bit of money than if they were to buy all the DLC packs individually.
It might also sound familiar because we've had Ralph Foulton, the Design Director at Playground Games, inform us of this in one of our preview videos.

According to Turn 10 and Playground Games, the 'Season Pass' will cover the first Forza Horizon Expansion Pack, along with the first six DLC car packs, with each pack coming with six cars. It's claimed that there'll be a 17% saving, so if our mental arithmetic is correct, that equates to roughly £8.50.
Players who buy the Season Pass will also be given five exclusive cars, along with the launch day pack, so there's an incentive to get the Pass if you're someone who likes collecting all the cars in racing games.
However, you may need deep pockets if you're determined to get the pass, as it's being sold for £49.99, which is substantially more than the £30 or so that was charged for Forza Motorsport 4's Season Pass.
Still, the Forza Horizon Season Pass won't go on sale until October 26th, so if you are set on getting the Pass, you've got some time to save up for it.
