Three of the Radical Sportscar company's road and racing cars will eventually be added to Project CARS' vehicle roster, developer Slightly Mad Studios has confirmed.
As stated in the official announcement, a trio of autos from the Peterborough-based car company – the open-topped Radical SR3 RS and SR8 RX prototype racers, along with the closed cockpit RXC Turbo road car – will be represented in Project CARS at some point in the near future.
This is on top of two other Radicals – the SR4 and SR8 LM – which are currently featured in the Project CARS beta.
Slightly Mad Studios has also revealed the Radicals will be a somewhat crucial component of the finished game's career mode, with the developer officially stating the cars will "play a pivotal role in Project CARS' extensive career mode, providing players with challenging vehicles to prove themselves in on their way to the top of the racing world".
No time windows for the release of the Radical sports car trio were disclosed in the announcement.
