An updated version of the Goodwood Hill Climb route will be coming to Gran Turismo 6 later this month, the Goodwood Estate has confirmed.

Originally announced on the 'Goodwood Road and Racing' website, a forthcoming update for Gran Turismo 6 will add a revised version of the Hill Climb course to the game on June 26th, coinciding with the opening of this year's Festival of Speed.

No changes are expected to be made to the route itself, but Goodwood's statement did confirm the revised track will contain the 2014 Festival of Speed's central feature; a statue commissioned to commemorate 120 years of Mercedes in motorsport.

The scenery for the current in-game Hill Climb course consists of the 'Lotus in Formula One' sculpture from the 2012 Festival of Speed. It's unknown at this moment in time whether this will be retained in Gran Turismo 6, or removed upon installing the update.
