Subaru's contribution to Gran Turismo 6's ongoing Vision Gran Turismo programme has been revealed, ahead of its imminent full reveal.
Far different design-wise to the diesel-electric hybrid crossover concept it partly shares it's name with, the VIZIV GT is the latest VGT design study to be officially announced, following a fortnight after the design sketches for Alpine's VGT were showcased on Twitter.
Little is known for sure about the VIZIV GT, other than the finished vehicle will possess a striking similarity to the preview image currently featured on the official Gran Turismo website.
The 'Plug-In' badging seen on the car (27 seconds into the preview trailer) also confirms the car will be a hybrid of some sort; almost certainly using an interation of Subaru's turbocharged four-cylinder 'Boxer' engines in conjunction with an electric motor of some description.
More information is expected to be disclosed in the near future, including clarification on whether or not the VIZIV GT will be joining the BMW M4 Safety Car in this month's update for Gran Turismo 6.
