Futuristic racer fans now have the opportunity to sign up for RedOut's closed beta on the PC platform.
You can sign up for the closed beta at this link. RedOut is very much influenced by the usual futuristic legends such as Wipeout, F-Zero and Rollcage, and developer 34BigThings are taking a no-nonsense approach to racing with RedOut. Check out the trailer below.
RedOut uses an interesting mix of a low-poly style coupled with the very latest shading and lighting effects. RedOut will feature a career mode where you can climb the ranking ladder and upgrade your hovership. Other modes include time attack, speed, survival, race, last man standing, arena race and score-based endurance so it looks as thought you won't be short of things to do.
There's 20 race tracks on offer which are set on four different environments, and the futuristic racer also features a powerup system where parts can be installed onto your hoverships which can be upgraded. Oh and there's also 4 player split screen action too.
RedOut is currently in development for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
