Game: Riptide GP: Renegade
Platform: Android, iOS, PC, PS4, Windows Phone, XBox One
Publisher: Vector Unit
Release Date:
Vector Unit has recently confirmed that their old-school arcade water racer Riptide GP: Renegade will be making a splash (sorry) on to the Xbox One and Windows 10 platforms on February 24.
The water-based racer, first released on the PlayStation 4 in July last year, features a very challenging single player career mode, 8 player online multiplayer, ghost racing leaderboard challenges and four of your real-life friends can battle it out thanks to the inclusion of four-player split screen.
Riptide GP: Renegade will see you racing rocket-powered watercrafts through a number of futuristic environments. Within the game’s career mode you’ll need to race various different event types and against a variety of characters (beating them will add them and their craft to your selection) in boss battles to reach the very top of the hydro jet racing world.
We reviewed the PlayStation 4 version last year and thought the title was a fun old-school racer with a punishing difficulty that may frustrate some players.
