News Euro Truck Simulator 2: open beta of 1.21 update goes live

The open beta of Euro truck Simulator 2’s 1.21 update has gone live, although referred to as a mostly maintenance release, there’s still some new bits to get excited over.

For instance, the 1.21 update paves the way for the new upcoming Cabin Accessories DLC which enables you to decorate your cabin for that personal touch. You can add all sorts of bits and bobs including the usual dice and bobbing dog head along with other accessories like handbags and cool boxes. Check out a quick teaser for the DLC below.

The new update also adds many hundreds of small touch ups made to the environments, there’s also improved road and terrain collision detection along with tweaked physics, UI, sounds and more general optimisations and improvements.
