DriveClub's dedicated servers are already running at their maximum capacity, developer Evolution Studios has confirmed.

Even though the PS4-exclusive racing game is only available at time of writing in North America, DriveClub's online servers are already – according to an announcement on the title's official Facebook page – "hitting their performance limits".

The announcement also confirmed that DriveClub's servers are now being operated on a "one in, one out" basis: players will only be able to access the game's online features when another player disconnects from the server. However, those who are allocated a spot "should not have any connectivity issues" during their time online.

Evolution Studios has also confirmed it's working on new upgrades and updates for its servers, in order to rectify this issue as soon as possible.

This announcement on DriveClub's online user capacity issues comes shortly after Evolution revealing the DriveClub PS+ Edition's launch will be postponed, in order to allow those who bought the full game to have "a better chance of connecting to the game servers".
