Abu Dhabi 2018 will be Fernando Alonso’s final F1 race (he might be back one day) and to say farewell McLaren have produced this special livery which incorporates his helmet colours. Not only is this a nice send-off but it opens the discussion of whether F1 cars could incorporate driver liveries all the time. Personally I think that would be a bad idea, most F1 drivers these days can’t even commit to a standard design, let alone a fixed set of basic colours.
