We take take a look at the recently released demo of Forza Motorsport 6 and get Alan's impressions with the first of two videos.
We kick off the action with a race at the very beautiful Rio in Forza Motorsport 6's flagship car – the 2017 Ford GT. We have assists on in this race and Alan is immediately impressed by just how well the assists work in the game which should make the game very accessible for players of all skill levels.
For our second race we jump into the Subaru Impreza 22B STi at take part in a race at Lime Rock. Immediately we are confronted with a large straight which shows off the game's impressive draw distances. Track details impressed us, there's new sections of tracks and wear here and there and plenty of tyre marks too something we couldn’t say about F1 2015 for instance.
We also take a brief look at the new mods system which grants you abilities to help you to victory, while an interesting addition we're not 100% convinced whether the feature has a place or not in a serious racing series. Alan felt that the handling was approachable, fun and very intuitive, and with a wealth of content on offer, including night racing and wet weather conditions, we are confident Forza Motorsport 6 will be a great success for Turn 10 Studios and a game we are very much looking forward to getting our hands on.
