The June line up for Xbox Games with Gold has been announced.

A Microsoft press release earlier this week confirmed that in honour of the third anniversary of the programme, its monthly set of free games to all Xbox Gold subscriber,  it has what it calls a “special line up” with two games each on the Xbox One and the 360.

Crazy physics defying and carnage creating Goat Simulator will lead the charge on offer for free on Xbox One starting June 1st alongside the wonderful indie platformer Super Meat Boy for Xbox 360

Following it up midway through the month sees the XB1 owners offered next gen racing title The Crew alongside the revival of the popular science fiction strategy series XCOM: Enemy Unknown landing later in the month on June 16th.

All Xbox 360 titles are backwards compatible on Xbox One meaning the new console owners get a total of 4 games.  Anyone who hasn’t yet upgraded to XB1 but has a gold membership can still reserve the Xbox One title for the future so they’ll be ready for them when they upgrade.

As usual with the programme, all games are available for a limited timeframe so make sure you grab them while you can.

Full details of the titles available are below:

 * Goat Simulator (£7.99 ERP): Available from June 1-30 on Xbox One

* The Crew (£23.99 ERP): Available from June 16-July 15 on Xbox One

* Super Meat Boy (£9.99 ERP): Available from June 1-15 on Xbox 360 and Xbox One

* XCOM Enemy Unknown (£49.99): Available from June 16-30 on Xbox 360 and Xbox One
